Animations for Waco, a documentary film about the life of David Koresh and the Branch Davidians tragic incidents of 1993, was commissioned by RAW TV for A&E Channel.

Based on 80's cartoons, the animations function as an interpretation of how the apocalyptic Biblical final days might have been inside Koresh's mind, who as a kid, was highly influenced by pop culture & TV.

Below is a selection of style frames, background illustrations and animations made for the film, plus a couple of final shots, where the animations were integrated into a live-action sequence on a vintage TV.

Besides animating and illustrating the style frames and later the background and landscapes, I was also in charge of the animation composition and edition for the film. 2017.
