Valley Solar builds residential solar systems throughout Massachusetts, US. With this animation, they wanted to tell their clients about all the benefits they can enjoy when acquiring solar panels for their homes. 

The project had an approved script with a humorous and high-speed vibe, that showed the different daily situations of solar panel usage at home. To convey the message and complement their script, a set of friendly illustrations on a restricted and vibrant colour palette was created, along with some fast yet fluid in-and-out camera zoom transitions between the different scenarios.

Taking into account the short timings and amount of scenes in the script, a sequence of very fast yet fluid match cuts and camera zooms take us through a series of windows, logos, and rooms. It was fun to work on creating a set of characters to populate a world that revolved around presenting a main character; "The Solar Panel House". 2022.
